This weekend was amazing! It was Anna and my birthday weekend and we decided to make it really special by pooling our friends together and making a huge party. Luckily, I had a relatively big corridor kitchen, and we were able to invite 50 people! Before our birthday party started, at the peak or dawn…or rather 10am, Yan woke up and started making rainbow cupcakes. Now making rainbow cupcakes isn’t an easy task. It takes hard work and patience. I’m so happy that Yan had both of them 🙂 I joined him at 12pm to help make the rest of the cupcakes and we didn’t finish until 7pm, one hour before the party. 90 cupcakes were made in total, and this was the process:
During the party we had mixed drinks, chips, rainbow cupcakes, a photo both and plenty of people to enjoy it! The music was blasting, the dancing happening, and everyone was having a good time. It was truly a party to remember.
The next day, we woke up early to get pizza’s at our classic “brunch” place aka Professorn. The Aussies got their classic hawaiian pizza’s and I grabbed a pepperoni one. Full, and energized, we headed off to pick up Anna at her apartment and headed off for a forest adventure! It was a relaxed day reminiscing about the party the day before and enjoying the nature. It was the perfect day that ended at Vigårda for some tasty burgers. Rating, would go again haha.
All in all, the weekend was truly amazing! I thought it could be best explained through more photos than usual! Till next time!
Thank you all who made this weekend possible XOXO Genet
